Doctors can prescribe

  • Common drugs like antihistamines and antibiotics
  • Maintenance medications used to treat high cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, and more. (This is usually a one-time thing, for when you’re in a pinch.)

 

Doctors cannot prescribe

  • Any controlled substances, such as opioids or amphetamines, etc.
  • Lifestyle medications, such as hair loss or erectile dysfunction medication
  • Diet pills such as phentermine

We’re a great option for many conditions. Here are some examples:

Typically, employers provide First Stop Health’s services at little to no cost to you. Check the membership email or letter you received when your employer added you to their First Stop Health plan.  You can also contact your HR team, or just ask us when you call to request a visit.

You sure can! Just be sure to request one during your visit. We’ll send you a follow-up email with your doctor’s note, but you can also find it in your mobile app or on our website.
