How Telemedicine Works

First Stop Health Doctors

You wake up one morning and don’t feel yourself. You have the sniffles, feel achy and even have a bit of a fever. You think it could be the flu and want to get checked out by a doctor. So, what’s the game plan?

You could find a doctor’s office, schedule an appointment and call in sick to work. You’ll spend the day rescheduling things, battling traffic, filling out forms and waiting around for care. At the end of it all, you’ll have spent hours – if not days – trying to get what you need to feel better. And then you’ll get the bill.

Good news: There’s a better way. With First Stop Health Telemedicine, you can get care before you even get out of bed! It’s quick, painless and free to use.

How It Works

Step 1: Request a visit on the mobile appwebsite or just call 888-691-7867. Available on-demand 24/7, our doctors treat health issues like cold, flu, rash, UTI, headache, fever and more.

Step 2: A doctor will call you, in 7 minutes on average. Visits occur via phone or video.

Step 3: The doctor will listen to your symptoms, diagnose your issue and provide a treatment plan. (In the rare case your issue can’t be treated virtually, we’ll provide next steps.)

Step 4: If your doctor writes you a prescription2, it will be sent to your pharmacy of choice.

Step 5: Head to the mobile app or website for doctor instructions, your sick note (if requested) and more. If you’d like, you can download a visit summary to share with your personal doctor.
