About
Dr. Canfield is a board-certified virtual primary care doctor with First Stop Health. She became a doctor because she wanted to be able to help women like herself who had gone through frustrating medical experiences including not being heard by doctors. She treats her patients as she would treat her family. Dr. Canfield listens to their stories and make shared decisions rather than telling her patients what to do. She wants her patients to feel respected and taken care of by giving them options and information so they can make their own healthcare decisions. She takes her job as a doctor (= teacher) seriously and educates her patients so that they can be their own advocates.
Outside of caring for her patients, she also has 2 small businesses: a private medical office and a ballroom/swing dance studio. They are a big baseball family and love anything Marvel — movies and TV shows!
